Farm
The farm was established in the ’60s and stretches over 18 hectares surrounding the holiday farm buildings.
Since 1995 we have been producing our vegetables, fruit, cereals, pulses and olives organically.
We decided to respect the natural fertility of the soil without using chemicals and employing crop rotation.
We produce, fresh or processed, may be tasted by our guests or purchased in the shop. We make especially fine tomato sauce, jams and artichokes preserved in oil.
The farm has been certified organic by the ICEA (Institute of Ethical and Environmental Certification).
The main produce are tomatoes, onions, cereals, and from the summer kitchen garden a wide range of vegetables.
Further we produce high quality extra virgin olive oil, from cold-ground olives.
We breed chickens, hens, rabbits, pigeons and lambs (Pomarancina breed) feeding them solely on our produce (broad beans, corn, wheat and hay made of our own alfalfa)
Last but not least we also have a nursery for orchard plants. Which not only meets the farm demand but also that of neighbouring farmers and others. Direct sale in our greenhouse.
